My go-to pudi
For authentic and lip-smacking saaru, you cannot go wrong with Oota tinDi’s saarina pudi. I simply can’t do without it!

| Add tamarind juice, chopped tomatoes, jaggery, curry leaves and one tablespoon of Saarina puDi and boil |
| Add salt to taste |
| Temper with mustard, hing in ghee |
| Garnish with chopped coriander leaves |
